Presented by renowned instrumentalist and vocalist Javier Camilo, inviting a variety of special special guests every month, the Cuban Jazz Sessions hope to create a discourse from the Cuban musical tradition (Son, Rumba, Changüí, Mambo, Afro-Cuban chants, etc.) to reinterpret genres and experiment by adding contemporary worldwide Jazz codes, new tendencies and genres of contemporary music…

Alexeis Kraniou – Guitar/ Vocals:
Alexis Kraniou is originally known as one of the most active world music and jazz fusion electric guitarist in London’s music scene. Having worked alongside with some of London’s most popular funk, afrobeat and jazz bands he brings a new different colour to Manouche after coming in touch with the style a few years ago. Thanks to his talent and love for Gypsy Jazz he has being performing with some of London’s greatest gypsy jazz players since his very beginning as a Manouche artist.
