The Wind That Shakes is an event series aimed at celebrating the power of music in times of struggle, social justice movements, resistance and revolution.
For this one-off special, we join to raise funds to support Aras: friend, comrade, and bodhran extraordinaire.
For the last 5 years, Aras has been working towards this point – Indefinite Leave to Remain and UK citizenship, and with your kind support and generous solidarity we have made it this far.
There is just one obstacle left to cross – the unjustifiably extortionate fees of the Home Office. Aras is unable to meet these alone, and so again we call upon your support.
Join us for a night of music, provided by Aras’s friends and fellow musicians from the Jam in a Jar Celtic session nights
Entrance is free; donation buckets will be passed around during the night, and some of Aras’s artwork will also be displayed for sale!
